Boista does not handle booking money. Guests pay each property directly through the property's own payment gateway, under the cancellation policy that property publishes and the guest accepts at booking. Properties pay STARTIONS LLP a subscription; those invoices carry STARTIONS' GSTIN.
A guest's details are stored only in the database of the property they book with and are visible only to that property. The student team running Boista and STARTIONS see aggregate counts and totals, never a guest. The Weekender stores no conversations: each plan becomes one anonymous count (city, crew, vibe, budget band, weekend). Personal data is processed under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Properties are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and rules. The Verified badge means documents were checked, not that Boista inspected the property.
